1. Who we are

BINGE_NJOY ("we", "us", "our") is a free entertainment discovery and tracking platform available athttps://binge-nest-53.vercel.app. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: email address, username, avatar and preferences you provide at sign-up.
  • Tracking data: the movies, series, anime and games you add to your watchlist or tracker, your ratings, reviews, and status changes.
  • Social data: friends, followers, activity feed entries, watch-together sessions.
  • Device & usage data: browser type, screen size, language, pages viewed and interactions used to improve the product.
  • Cookies & local storage: used to keep you signed in, remember preferences (theme, language, region) and store your cookie consent.

3. How we use your data

  • Provide core features: watchlist, tracker, ratings, recommendations, leaderboards, watch-together.
  • Personalise your home feed and "For You" suggestions.
  • Send notifications you have opted into (releases, matches, friend activity).
  • Detect abuse, keep the service secure and comply with applicable law.

4. Third-party services

We use TMDB and RAWG to source movie, series, anime and game metadata and imagery. We rely on Supabase for authentication, database and storage. When you tap a streaming badge (Netflix, Prime, JioHotstar, etc.) we open the platform's own website or app — their privacy policies then apply.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Public profile fields (username, avatar, public lists, reviews, activity) are visible to other users. Everything else is private to your account.

6. Your rights

You can edit your profile, delete individual tracker/watchlist entries, or request full account deletion at any time by contacting us. Depending on your region you may also have rights to access, correct, export or restrict processing of your data.

7. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Children

BINGE_NJOY is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be highlighted in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
